Front Gate
The front gate of LMCH is a key asset designed to provide the member with a safer and more secure environment in which to recreate and relax. The gate is staffed 24/7 with security during the summer months. There is an information board to the right of the gate which has a phone for contacting the front office.

Our Office:
The LMCH Office is located near the entry and exit of LMCH. The office is staffed daily from 08:30am - 05:00 pm, 7 days a week, however, please note the office may close for lunch from 12:00-12:30pm depending on staffing level.

The office closes for the following holidays: Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. The office contains restrooms, a Conference room, Our Sales office and a computer for public use during business hours. The office is also where you would sign up for Wi-Fi service.

During office hours, you can purchase items at the LMCH store, such as clothing , tarps, firewood, laundry soap, ice and other supplies with a staff eager to assist you.

The Fire Station
The next facility you will see at LMCH is the large light brown fire station located in the LMCH office parking lot. This facility belongs to Clark County Fire District #10 and is staffed by volunteers during calls. Some current LMCH members are volunteers and are able to respond with the apparatus housed inside. The station currently contains a combination water tender/ pumper and a rescue squad. In an emergency the outside responders are assisted by camp management and volunteer security.

The LMCH Pool was built in 1975. The LMCH indoor pool was once the second biggest pool in Clark County. The pool which includes a sauna , jaccuzi and workout room,  provides other recreational opportunities for the members during inclement weather.  Hours vary by season. Refer to the Things N Stuff Newsletter for hours.

The waterfront area has many features offering fun for the whole family.
The swim beach has room for everyone to enjoy fun in the sun. There are picnic tables and grills available. The swimming area is roped off to segregate it from boating areas.
Rental moorages are available through the member section of the website or through the LMCH office.

Long term lease moorages are also in place.

 The Boat Launch / Waterfront

The Boat Launch area is for LMCH member and guest boats. This facility has two adjacent lanes for simultaneous launch/trailering activities.

Multiple parking areas are available for truck and trailers, and passenger vehicles.

Mini Golf
The Putt Putt Golf Course is maintained by member volunteers. Hideaway Acres Putt-putt golf course is the site of several summer tournaments for the kids. Adults can play too! Clubs and balls are available on request at the office and pool.

Kamp Kitchen 5 "aka KK-5".  Kamp Kitchen 5 is a full service restaurant that offers a variety of meals sure to please. KK5 is centrally located on the main road that leads to the lake. It includes a big cozy fireplace and 2 big screen TV's with full NFL ticket. It is also the home of various functions throughout the season such as Children's activities, Bingo and dances. It is open year round with limited hours through the Winter.

The Viewpoint located between Blocks 2 and Blocks 3 is KK-2. This is a small covered area with a built in fire pit. The view from the top includes a majestic view of Mt. Saint Helens and panoramic views of the lake.

Boat & RV Storage
There are three storage areas with limited space available for members to rent on a first come, first served basis. Block 16 storage area is closest to the lake in lower camp and is for boat storage only. Upper Camp Boat storage by the Pool.  Another area is near the office is for RV storage.  Spaces are available on a monthly, semi-annual or annual basis. They are reserved as space allows through the office.

These can be reserved by members on line or by contacting the office during business hours.

Guest families of Hideaway members may also stay on the members site if space allows.  The member must register at the office for a second RV on site permit.  Guests may not exceed 14 consecutive days when staying at the members site or courtesy site.

  How Courtesy Sites Work

LMCH Maintenance Shop
The LMCH shop maintenance complex is located immediately adjacent to the pool building.  The majority of LMCH rolling stock and supplies are located here.  This is the home base for the maintenance employees.  There is a full shop to provide in house repair and servicing to the many maintenance vehicles.  LMCH has Dump trucks, a garbage truck, backhoes, a pump truck, a grader and several different maintenance trucks.  There is also a wood working shop, welding area, tire area and supply areas.  In addition there is a gravel storage area on the main road from the office. Culvert, cold patch, and holding tanks are also stored there.

Reservoirs and Pumphouses
Throughout LMCH you will see many reservoirs and pump houses. LMCH has three separate water systems recognized by Washington State.   A certified water system operator is on site.  He manages the water quality and testing to ensure the quality and safety of the water.  In addition LMCH has over 125k gallons of water storage reservoirs which are supplied by 7 wells throughout the camp.  The storage capacity helps with the surge of demand over the warm summer weekends. md
